Paul Brady

Paul Brady is een Iers zanger en songwriter. Hij is kort lid geweest van de formatie Planxty, een band die keltische folkmuziek maakte en nadat Planxty in 1975 wordt ontbonden maakt Brady samen met Andy Irvine het schitterende album Andy Irivine & Paul Brady (1976). Vanaf 1978 gaat hij solo. Hij maakt muziek op het grensgebied van van pop en folk. Hard station uit 1981 is zijn 2e soloalbum met daarop de single crazy dreams dat de Ierse hitparade haalt.  Erg succesvol is Brady in Nederland en Engeland niet. Geen enkele single haalt de hitparade en ook zijn albums verschijnen niet in de charts. Brady zingt op het album Shine van Mary Black uit 1997 mee met het stemmige i will be there.
